Chelsea have been informed by intermediaries that Al-Ittihad winger Moussa Diaby is available for transfer this summer, according to reports.
TEAMtalk claim that the Blues, Diaby’s former club Aston Villa, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham are among those who have been offered the player.
Diaby left Villa for Saudi Arabia in a deal worth £50m before the start of last season. He has played 59 times for Al-Ittihad since then, scoring 8 goals and providing 29 assists.
The forward, who has been capped 11 times by France, is still in his prime, having turned 26 back in July.

Chelsea already have too many wingers
Diaby is predominantly left-footed and prefers the right flank, but Blues boss Liam Rosenior has Estevao and Pedro Neto, who have similar profiles.
Furthermore, Geovany Quenda will also arrive from Sporting Lisbon this summer, so there is an argument to say that the club will need to sell wingers before buying anymore. Get A Chelsea Quarter Zip Hoodie from Printerval here
Diomande is a better fit than Diaby
It was reported a couple of weeks ago that Chelsea are keeping tabs on RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.
The Ivorian international is seven years younger than Diaby, while he can play on the left-hand side, which is an area of the pitch that remains a big weakness.
Despite splashing out over £90m on Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho last summer, neither has particularly impressed. The former is currently sidelined with a major hamstring injury, while the latter has only shown flashes of his talent off the bench.
Diomande would probably cost a lot more than Diaby, but he could prove to be a major upgrade for a key position.
