The German tactician reportedly has ‘admirers in the corridors of power at United’, but he is not viewed as a viable option due to his strong links with the Anfield side.
Klopp has yet to return to management following his Liverpool exit in the summer of 2024 and is currently serving as head of global soccer at Red Bull.

According to Cross, Manchester United would like to appoint a new permanent manager before the World Cup, which kicks off on June 11.
This would enable the club to enter the summer transfer window with a new head coach in charge, although Carrick staying beyond the season has not been ruled out.
United will reportedly hand the former midfielder a permanent contract if he manages to secure Champions League qualification.
The Red Devils are unbeaten in their six games under Carrick so far, and next host Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
