Buffalo Bills predicted to sign 6x Pro Bowl WR this offseason

The Buffalo Bills are looking to take the next step as a team. In the first year of coach Joe Brady, they are hoping to get quarterback Josh Allen over the hump and to his first Super Bowl. With the team needing to clear some cap space, projected to be $6.28 million over the cap, they can attract some quality players on the offensive side of the ball. Let’s take a look at who is predicted to land with the Buffalo Bills this offseason.

ESPN’s Aaron Schatz wrote an article predicting one free agent signing for each team. For the Buffalo Bills, he predicted wide receiver Mike Evans to sign with the team and wrote the following:

“Buffalo needs a No. 1 option for quarterback Josh Allen, and Evans is still a talented ‘X’ receiver. He has the size — standing at 6-foot-5, 231 pounds — and ball skills to win contested catches. Allen could also trust Evans on third down; in 2025, he had a team-high 220 yards on third down for the Bucs.

“There are doubts about Evans, however, since he will be turning 33 in August and missed 10 games in 2025 due to a broken collarbone and a hamstring injury. But he is only one year removed from a 1,000-yard season with 11 touchdowns.”

Evans has been one of the most dominant receivers over the previous decade, making six Pro Bowls and 11 consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 yards before 2025. This would be the most talented receiver Allen has had in his career, and a chance for new coach Joe Brady to get the offense flowing. This signing would also help players like tight end Dalton Kincaid get more favorable looks throughout the game.

This is not the only person predicting Evans to the Bills. It will be intriguing to see if the Buffalo Bills can do enough to make Evans leave the Buccaneers after spending his entire 12-year career with the team.
