“Jesus, Tom Brady! What the Hell Is Going On?”: President Donald Trump Allegedly Wanted His…

Tom Brady retired in 2023 after 23 seasons, leaving the NFL with seven Super Bowl rings and every major passing record. He spent most of his career with the New England Patriots before winning a final title with Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Today, his focus has shifted to the front office as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. The franchise is coming off a disappointing 3–14 campaign but enters the 2026 offseason with the top overall draft pick and record-breaking cap space to rebuild.

His life off the field remains a fixture in the headlines. Since his 2022 divorce from Gisele Bündchen, the 48-year-old has balanced co-parenting their two children and his eldest son, Jack.

But a story dropped this week that has put Brady’s name back in a very different kind of conversation, including President Donald Trump’s daughter’s name in the line.

Donald Trump pushed Ivanka to date Tom Brady, but she chose Jared Kushner instead

In his memoir, “Young Man in a Hurry,” Gavin Newsom describes a 2018 meeting with Donald Trump on Marine One. While they were supposed to discuss wildfires, Trump began talking about Tom Brady.

According to Newsom,Trump claimed that he once gave Brady his daughter Ivanka’s phone number, but she never called him back. When Brady told Trump about the snub, Trump called his daughter to find out what happened.

While describing Trump’s reaction, Newsomwrote, “I said, ‘Jesus, you know, Tom Brady. What the hell is going on? Why aren’t you calling this guy back?’ And she tells me, ‘Oh, I’m in love.’ ‘What do you mean you’re in love?’ And that’s when she mentions ‘this guy.'”

With Kushner sitting right there on the helicopter, Trump mocked the choice. He recalled telling Ivanka, “Not the guy whose father just got out of prison?” Trump then turned to Newsom and added, “Tom Brady. Not even close, right, Gavin?”

According to Newsom, Kushner maintained a dead silence before eventually replying, “I know I wasn’t your first choice.” Newsom noted that Trump openly “making his son-in-law feel two feet tall. And Kushner just let him do it.”

Ivanka married Kushner in 2009, and they have three children together. Kushner later served as a senior adviser to Trump during his first term and has maintained an informal advisory role since.

As for Brady, since his split from Bündchen, he has been linked to several high-profile women, including Irina Shayk and Kim Kardashian. Most recently, rumors surfaced involving 25-year-old influencer Alix Earle after the two were seen together at a New Year’s Eve party in St. Barths.
