Haaland is the Premier League’s top goalscorer this season with 22 goals in 27 games. The well-known Leeds fan drew a blank in the reverse fixture, a 3-2 City win in November, and will not get the chance to improve his tally today.

He was replaced in the starting line-up by Rayan Cherki, with Egyptian international Omar Marmoush expected to lead the line. He will be flanked by Cherki and £64million January signing Antoine Semenyo.
