Arsenal are eyeing a move to sign Sporting CP sensation Ivan Fresneda this summer amid strong interest in Ben White, according to Caught Offside.

Jurrien Timber and William Saliba have solidified their places as regular starters on the right-hand side of the defence at the Emirates Stadium, and that has seen limited opportunities for ex-England international White, which has opened the door for a potential summer exit.

White, who signed for the Gunners for £50m from Brighton back in 2021, has suffered with a number of injury problems so far in this campaign, which has restricted him to just 19 appearances in all competitions, with just five starts in the Premier League.
As a result, the 28-year-old is now being looked at by a number of European clubs, and Arsenal are said to be open to doing a deal to let him move on for a fee in the region of £30m. White is not currently pushing for a move, with his attentions solely focused on the rest of the season.
However, Arsenal are already making plans to replace him should he move on, and Sporting CP star Fresneda has emerged as a top target for the north London club.
Arsenal have had a long-term interest in the Spaniard, who is one of the fastest players in the Champions League, and they view him as the perfect profile to come in at right-back and provide competition for Timber.
The 21-year-old does not have Premier League experience which could work against him initially, but Sporting aren't expected to stand in his way if an acceptable offer arrives, which could make it an easier deal for Arsenal to do.
