It's becoming very evident that Malik Willis is going to get paid handsomely this NFL offseason.
Willis, a former third-round pick of the Tennessee Titans, has revitalized his career as a backup quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Although he's received limited playing time over the past two seasons, he managed to rack up 972 passing yards, 261 rushing yards and nine total touchdowns for Matt LaFleur's offense.
Now that Willis is set to be an unrestricted free agent, he's got a second chance to be a starter in the NFL. As for where he'll end up, it sounds like he could take his talents to the NFC West.

According to Matthew Berry, the Arizona Cardinals are expected to offer Willis a contract in free agency that includes a starting salary of at least $30 million.
"Malik Willis is getting at least 30 million dollars and is going to be the starting quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals," Berry said.
This report from Berry aligns with NFL insider Jordan Schultz's report from earlier this week.
"Packers free agent QB Malik Willis is in demand, as expected, and interested teams I've spoken to at the Combine in Indianapolis believe him getting at least $30M per year is a foregone conclusion," Schultz said.
Will Malik Willis be the next great reclamation project?
We've already seen Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield resurrect their NFL careers, so it's not crazy to think Willis could be next in line for a redemption arc.
In fact, former NFL quarterback Chris Simms expects Willis to be a superstar this fall.
"I think Malik Willis is a superstar," Simms said. "I would think he's the crowning gem of guys that will be out there as far as free agents. … He's got a special arm, he's got special mobility, he knows how to run the offense."
Willis has the physical tools to be a game changer in the NFL. Can he build off the success he had in Green Bay though? That'll determine his outlook for the next few years.
