Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid is set to miss some time.

In the team's announcement on Saturday, Embiid will reportedly miss the next three games of the 76ers after an MRI revealed his strained right oblique.

Embiid notably entered the locker room last Thursday against the Miami Heat with a rib injury, but he eventually returned to power the team's 124-117 victory.

He dropped 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes, dropping a clutch trey to pull the finishing touch for the 76ers.

As Embiid is set to be out against Boston (Sunday), San Antonio (Tuesday) and Utah (Wednesday), Philadelphia will lean on Andre Drummond and Adem Bona again.

Embiid is averaging 26.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 33 games played thus far this season.
