“It was a stupid mistake by me to talk about something I’m not qualified to talk about. So I regretted even trying to talk about the diagnosis," he said.
"That was my mistake, I need to leave that to the professionals.”
In his recent appearance on 95.7 The Game's Willard and Dibs, the Warriors coach disclosed that he contacted Atlanta Hawks general manager Onsi Saleh before the team's trade deadline acquisition of Porzingis to confirm the diagnosis around the Latvian star.
According to Kerr, Saleh told him that Porzingis isn't actually dealing with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and called the past reports "misinformation."
