The Miami Heat have a talented roster, especially with the youngster, Kel'el Ware. Over the past few months, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has not given him the opportunities that he deserves.
Spoelstra still has worries with him, but even Ware's Heat teammates want him to get opportunities. This includes star center Bam Adebayo, who has publicly urged his head coach to give Ware more wiggle room to work with.
Adebayo wants Ware to get better opportunities with the Heat
Ware is only in his second season, but he already showed his superb potential in his rookie year. At 7'0", Ware has a unique skill set because he can thrive in the paint as a rim-runner.
However, Ware can also stretch the floor with his three-point shooting. The combination of athleticism and a soft touch makes him a dream big man to play alongside for any point guard. Unfortunately, he is still not getting enough love from his head coach.

Spoelstra has been constantly urged to play Ware more this season. He has heard all the discourse surrounding his dynamic with Ware. However, he continues not give him the opportunities, which has led to Adebayo wanting him to play more.
"He wants to learn, he wants to figure it out. For Spo man, he just gotta give him the opportunities to make mistakes. Now sometimes, the mistakes be crazy," Adebayo said to Udonis Haslem on Prime Video's NBA broadcast.
"As you can see hes a talent, he can get a double-double with his eyes closed. When he's activated, he helps our defense and our offense. Big fella can make plays."
Ware is on a short leash with Spoelstra, which is intriguing because everyone can see the young big man's talent. He has the potential to be a star with Miami, but Spoelstra continues to put a cap on that high-level potential.
In the long run, having Ware play more could lead to some solid success. He played 29 minutes on Saturday against the Houston Rockets, which led to a 13-point and 15-rebound performance.
That kind of game is always possible if Ware gets to play. Considering he played alongside Adebayo across many of his minutes, Spoelstra might have found the right dynamic that can maximize everyone's talent.
