Everything you need to know about the Premier League title race after Manchester City beat Leeds United...
Erling Haaland was notably absent from Manchester City's recent Premier League squad against Leeds United. The striker sustained a minor knee injury late during a training session, which is why he did not make the trip to Elland Road.
Pep Guardiola confirmed that Haaland's issue is not overly serious but that he needs to rest. There is cautious optimism that the Norway international will return for their upcoming match against Nottingham Forest.
Despite missing their star attacker, Manchester City secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Leeds. January signing Antoine Semenyo scored the decisive goal deep into first-half stoppage time.
This hard-fought win has allowed Manchester City to close the gap in the Premier League title race. They currently sit just two points behind league leaders Arsenal with only ten games left to play.
Arsenal now face added pressure as they prepare for a challenging London derby against Chelsea. The Gunners will need a positive result to re-establish a more comfortable advantage at the top of the table.
The title winner could come down to the upcoming match between Arsenal and Manchester City. This last Premier League clash is due to take place at the Etihad Stadium on April 18.
A concerning injury to England international Nico O'Reilly unfortunately overshadowed Manchester City's win over Leeds. He went down in the second half, holding his ankle.
Losing O'Reilly for an extended period would be a significant setback for Pep Guardiola's squad depth. The academy product has performed well across various roles throughout the current campaign.
