A former Red has posted a message of encouragement from the Gulf region.
Many have been thrown into a period of uncertainty amid ongoing tensions in that area of the world.
Planes have been grounded and the world is clinging on to updates as few really know what will happen next.
Those currently staying in Dubai have had their plans disrupted as a result.
Yesterday, Graeme Souness revealed that he was stranded in Abu Dhabi after hoping to catch a flight back to the UK in time for the Old Firm Derby against Scotland and Celtic.
Whilst he acknowledged the inconvenience, he was quick to throw perspective into the picture.
“We are grumpy about airport delays, but I think we should think about the people who could die right now,” the Liverpool legend posted to his Instagram.
Elsewhere, former Liverpool player Luis Garcia has posted an update via his Instagram, as he is currently in Dubai.
The post reads: “We are here, we are well and we feel safe.”
That is encouraging to hear as many will have been wondering about the feelings of those currently stuck in the countries affected by the conflict.
There will be a combined hope that the situation can come to an end in a peaceful manner as it threatens to impact our everyday life.
Luis Garcia enjoyed a hugely successful spell with the Reds between 2004 and 2007, as he was a key part of that infamous comeback in the Champions League final in 2005.
He totalled 30 goals in 122 competitive appearances during his time on Merseyside, with ten coming in the Champions League, including five in that historic run in 2005.
