Chelsea XI vs Arsenal: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea take on Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend

Liam Rosenior’s side head to the Emirates Stadium hoping to right the wrongs of their last two league matches, where they dropped points from winning positions and drew with Leeds and Burnley.

Estevao and Cucurella both missed the Burnley draw due to hamstring injuries and were not pictured in training on any of Chelsea’s official channels this week.

Rosenior provided an update on both players during his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, confirming neither will feature in north London.

He said: “Unfortunately, Estevao will be out for a little longer.

"Cucurella is progressing really well. He's not available for Sunday but hopefully we get him back soon."

With Cucurella absent, Rosenior chooses Jorrel Hato over Malo Gusto at left-back.

Wesley Fofana is suspended following his dismissal against Burnley, so Rosenior places his faith in Mamadou Sarr in the heart of defence.

Jamie Gittens is not available once more as he suffered a tear in his hamstring when sustaining the injury that forced him off in the first half of the 3-2 win over West Ham last month.
