With a Sunday afternoon game approaching on March 1, the Minnesota Timberwolves made a roster move.
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Timberwolves are signing Zyon Pullin. The veteran is landing a two-way deal with the team.
The point guard is a G League standout for the Timberwolves’ affiliate in Iowa.
Zyon Pullin’s Pro Basketball Journey
It all started at UC Riverside for Pullin. He spent four seasons playing NCAA hoops in California before taking his talents to the University of Florida for his final season.
With the Gators, Pullin started in 27 of the 33 games he played. He saw the court for 33.5 minutes per game. Pullin averaged 15.5 points per game, while shooting 44% from the field, and hitting on 44% from beyond the arc.
Pullin came down with 3.9 rebounds per game, while producing 4.9 assists per outing.
On draft night in 2024, Pullin didn’t receive a call to get selected within the two-round event. Instead, he landed a two-way contract with the Miami Heat.

The run with the Heat didn’t last very long. Pullin failed to make the final roster. He joined the Miami Heat G League team in Sioux Falls.
During the 2024-2025 NBA season, Pullin signed a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. His playing time at the main level was limited, but Pullin managed to appear in three games. He didn’t log any stats.
