Arsenal’s set-piece prowess, scoring all three goals in the game, enabled Mikel Arteta’s men to take all three points against Chelsea this afternoon.
William Saliba headed the Gunners in front, before a Piero Hincapie own goal just before half-time levelled things up. Jurrien Timber nodded home Declan Rice’s corner before the visitors were reduced to 10 men when Pedro Neto was sent off.
It should have been the moment we took control of the game, but Chelsea made more passes despite being a man down, and Arsenal had David Raya to thank for a couple of brilliant saves to keep the slender lead until full-time.
