David Adelman doesn't like how the Thunder view Dort's controversial foul against the Serbian superstar, despite the obvious malicious intent by the OKC forward.
The controversial foul by Luguentz Dort on Nikola Jokic has been one of the hottest subjects of discussion in basketball recently.

As it is, Jokic's facial expression went viral following the incident. It can be easily viewed that the Denver Nuggets superstar was irate about the unsportsmanlike act that Dort demonstrated.
Speaking up again regarding the infamous incident, Denver coach David Adelman is convinced about how Jokic reacted and why the OKC Thunder forward made a dirty play.
"He is more a measured person throughout the season, because, I mean, most people are — they're more productive if they're measured. But there's a point where we play these games and what he deals with nightly, anybody would react that way," Adelman said about Jokic in pregame of the Nuggets' Sunday clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
"And then for Dort to take that shot — and then I guess it wasn't that big of a deal from their standpoint, how they looked at it — is ridiculous. That was malicious. It was a cheap shot."
Head coach Mark Daigneault expects a Flagrant foul 2 assessment if one of their players is tripped, similar to what happened to Jokic-Dort's incident. Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander said Dort is "not that type of guy" to intentionally commit such antics.
"Lu Dort's a great player, and that's not what I've seen him do before. But at some point, you have to stand up for yourself, and the team does as well," Adelman added.
"So they're a great team. That game was what it was. But yeah, Nikola, that's who he is, man. You can't have the success that he's had and not be that competitive."
