Mohamed Diawara clearly isn't shy.
The New York Knicks' forward set an all-time NBA record on Sunday simply by showing no hesitancy on the court.
The record was set because Diawara shot 13 3-point attempts in 14 minutes on the court.
It's the most 3-point attempts per minute in NBA history, according to Nate Duncan, with a minimum set of 10 minutes played.
That's absolutely remarkable.
Diawara shot 4-for-13 on those 3-pointers, and he also made one 2, to give him 14 points on the day.
The Knicks rolled past the San Antonio Spurs, 114-89.
Some Knicks fans may not even be familiar with who Diawara is.
He's a 6-foot-9 forward who was the No. 51 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft from France.
The 20-year old was playing his 50th game for the Knicks on Sunday.
Before the Spurs game, Diawara had played just 7.4 minutes per night.
Of note, he was shooting 41.4% from 3-point range on a relatively small sample size.
That percentage went down a bit Sunday, but the volume certainly went up.
The Knicks must've said to Diawara that he's got a bright green light, and he took it.
This will be a hard record to break -- there are only so many possessions per minute.
Diawara may have just made this mark his own.
