BALDY’S TOP 100 BIG BOARD

With the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine now in the rearview mirror, big boards and draft values for the prospects in the class are starting to take shape. Longtime NFL analyst Brian Baldinger got a jump on it Sunday, releasing his top 100 big board, broken down by position.

Literally.

Baldinger tweeted a photo of his dry-erase board with his top 100 prospects broken down by position and color-coded to highlight first-round talents from Round 2 and later.

As you can see in the photo, it’s a WR- and EDGE-heavy class in Baldinger’s mind.

NO DEREK CARR TRADE MOVEMENT

Derek Carr hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2024 season, but this offseason he’s reportedly mulling a return from retirement, which could add an experienced quarterback to the trade market. So far though, according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, the Saints have made it known that they haven’t heard from teams regarding a Carr trade.

Derek Carr said earlier this month that he'd end his retirement to play for a Super Bowl contender. The Saints have yet to hear from a team interested in trading for Carr's rights. https://t.co/U73Ar8xNjw

The Steelers have been tabbed as a potential landing spot for Carr, should he come out of retirement. During a recent podcast appearance, Carr outlined two factors he’d need met if he comes out of retirement. He needs to go to a team that can compete for a Super Bowl, and he needs to be healthy.

Carr retired from the NFL after an injury-filled 2024 season, citing a serious shoulder injury.

FASTEST 40-YARD DASHES AT SCOUTING COMBINE

One thing that’s been evident at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is that the turf at Lucas Oil Stadium is on fire due to the speed players are moving at this year.

It’s the fastest Combine ever, on average 40-yard dash times. Though the Combine doesn’t have the highest number of 4.4-or-less times compared to previous years, guys are getting faster and testing better. And it’s only going to get better year after year.

Check out the 10 fastest 40-yard dashes from this year’s Combine.
