Bucks fans want Doc Rivers fired after what happened in loss to Bulls

The Milwaukee Bucks are slumping again, as they have now lost two games in a row.

After a stretch that saw them win eight of 10 games, Doc Rivers’ squad has dropped two games in a row, including Sunday’s embarrassing 120-97 loss on the road at the hands of the Chicago Bulls.

According to ESPN, Milwaukee had a 90.4 percent chance of winning the game at the start of the third quarter, when Milwaukee held a 15-point lead. However, Chicago erased that deficit — and more — when it went on a torrid 27-0 run in the second half. Such a loss was not a good look on Milwaukee, particularly on Rivers, who seemingly had no answer to counter Chicago’s salvo.

In the fourth quarter, all Milwaukee could muster was eight points, while the Bulls lit it up for 33 points in the same frame.

That led to several fans taking their frustrations to social media, many calling for Milwaukee to fire Rivers.

“Time to fire Doc Rivers right now,” said a fan on X.

Another one said: “Please fire Doc Rivers! This man cannot coach a professional team.”

From a commenter: “Fire doc rivers wow we should have won this game”

“Greeks have told you to fire Doc Rivers ages ago,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “FIRE DOC RIVERS!!!!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF BASKETBALL GET HIM OUT OF MILWAUKEE NOWWWWWWWWWWW”

Said another: “8pts in the 4th qtr.. Fire Doc Rivers @Bucks.”

Milwaukee is now just 26-33, as the Bulls ended their wild 11-game losing skid.

It is not about to get any better for Milwaukee, as it next faces Rivers’ former team, the Boston Celtics, on Monday at Fiserv Forum.
