Los Angeles Lakers Announce LeBron James History During Kings Game

on Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers played the Sacramento Kings (at home).

The Lakers won by a score of 128-104.

LeBron James finished with 24 points, one rebound, five assists, two steals and one block while shooting 8/15 from the field and 3/4 from three-point range in 27 minutes of playing time.

Ryan Ward of Lakers OnSI wrote: “Per Lakers: With his third assist tonight versus Sacramento, LeBron James passed Michael Cooper (3,666) for fifth place in Lakers history. 4. Norm Nixon (3,846) 5. LeBron James (3,667) 6. Michael Cooper (3,666)”

At 41, James still remains an elite forward.

He came into the night with averages of 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 49.8% from the field and 31.1% from three-point range in 41 games.

The Lakers are currently the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 36-24 record in 60 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and 5-5 over their last ten).

Following the Kings, the Lakers will remain in Los Angeles to host the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night.

Lakers reporter Jovan Buha wrote: “Final: Lakers 128, Kings 104 LA wins its second straight game, improving to 36-24. They’re just a half-game back of Denver for the No. 5 seed (and play them twice over the next two weeks). Luka had 28/5/9. LeBron had 24 points. The Lakers hit 18 3s. Up next: vs. NOP on Tues.”

Sacramento Kings This Season

As for the Kings, they have had a very tough season.

They are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 14-48 record in 62 games.

Following the Lakers, the Kings will host the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night.
