Liverpool face a decisive month in their hopes for silverware, with their March schedule key for FA Cup and Champions League progression.
Arne Slot still has uncertainty hanging over him and his side due to the level of performances, but recent results have ensured the mood has not dipped.
Liverpool benefitted from a relaxed February schedule, but March will ask entirely different questions of their ability to lift silverware at the end of the season.
The Reds have only two home games this month and four on the road, with their FA Cup and Champions League progression in their hands.
March 3 – Wolves (A)

The month kicks off with the first of two trips to Wolves in the same week, with the Premier League meeting preceding their fifth-round cup tie.
Liverpool won the reverse fixture 2-1, not that they made it easy for themselves, and will arrive in the knowledge that Wolves will have little to lose as the Premier League‘s cellar dwellers.

Merely 70 hours after the final whistle in the league match, the first whistle will sound for the FA Cup tie between the two teams, again at Molineux.
A quarter-final place is on the line, which Liverpool last reached in Jurgen Klopp‘s final season.
It will be interesting to see how the two clubs approach the two games with them being so close together!
March 10 – Galatasaray (A)

With the FA Cup tie taking place on the Friday evening, Liverpool will have a decent break before they are on the road again to meet Galatasaray in the first leg of their last 16 Champions League tie.
The first leg is an early 5.45pm (UK) kickoff, a deviation from the norm!
Liverpool, of course, lost in Istanbul earlier this season and will hope to avenge that result to take a lead back to Anfield for the decider.
March 15 – Tottenham (H)

Sandwiched between the Champions League tie is the visit of Tottenham, who find themselves precariously close to the relegation zone and with an interim manager at the helm.
Igor Tudor was appointed until the end of the season after Thomas Frank was relieved of his duties, though even he has not needed long to see the issues plaguing the club.
Liverpool won the reverse fixture 2-1, a match which saw Alexander Isak break his leg due to a careless tackle.
March 18 – Galatasaray (H)

Thankfully, Liverpool do not have to get back on the road as they host Galatasaray in the second leg of their Champions League tie.
The hope will be that Slot’s side kick off from a position of strength, but either way, Anfield will be primed for arguably its biggest game of the season to date.
A place in the quarter-final would set up a meeting with either Chelsea or PSG.

The month then closes out with a long trip to Brighton – the players and travelling fans will have been living out of a suitcase or duffel bag this month!
The Seagulls have not had an enjoyable season and Liverpool have two wins over Fabian Hurzeler’s men already this season, and they will need to make it three to push for a European spot.
Isak is expected to be close to rejoining the squad for training at the time of this fixture, but it is likely we will only see him in action from April.
March 23-31 – International break
After a busy month, the players will then jet off to various parts of the world and we will all be left to hope they return injury-free.
It is the final international break of the season, hallelujah!
March 28 – Liverpool Legends vs. Dortmund

The international break weekend marks a special one in Liverpool’s calendar, with the Legends facing off against Borussia Dortmund at Anfield.
Klopp will be back on the touchline for the first time since his departure as he assists Sir Kenny Dalglish, while fans will also have the chance to see Steven Gerrard and Thiago pair up in midfield.
All of the proceeds from this fixture – supported by AXA and held in association with Forever Reds – will go directly towards the work of LFC Foundation and Forever Reds.
It promises to be another special and memorable day!
