Darwin Nunez could make his big Premier League return in the summer, while Mikel Arteta has identified a potential €100 million Arsenal signing. All the latest transfer rumours and gossip right here.
Livramento to Man City for a record fee
Manchester City are ready to break a world transfer record in order to sign Tino Livramento from Newcastle.
Pep Guardiola’s side are ready to make the England international the most expensive full-back in history as they are preparing an offer worth €80 million (£70m) for the former Southampton star.
Arsenal are also tracking Livramento, FootballTransfers has revealed in January, but it seems that are City really pushing for a move currently.
ANALYSIS: Newcastle have been tough negotiators in the transfer market in the past but may be forced to buckle under the pressure of such a large bid from one of the Premier League’s big guns.
Chelsea tracking Darwin Nunez
Chelsea are interested in bringing former Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez back to the Premier League.
The Blues are tracking the Al-Hilal striker, who has endured a difficult time in Saudi Arabia. He moved to the Pro League from Liverpool last summer but finds himself frozen out at his current employer.
Newcastle are also thought to be tracking the 26-year-old No.9.
ANALYSIS: Nunez to Chelsea would be a very surprising move given he is not of the typical age profile followed by the Blues. It would take a change in transfer policy to make this a likely deal.
Arsenal target €100m Bastoni
Arsenal are tracking Alessandro Bastoni and are ready to rival Barcelona and Liverpool for the Italy international in the summer.
Bastoni has two years left on his contract at Inter Milan, but the highly rated central defender is heavily linked with a move to one of Europe’s superpowers.
The Nerazzurri want a fee of €90-100m for the 26-year-old.
ANALYSIS: Are Arsenal really going to spend €100m on a centre-back while Gabriel and William Saliba are still at the club given there are other areas Arteta wants to be addressed? Absolutely not. The Gunners may well be tracking the Italian, but will surely only sign him if they lose one of their starters.
