Forgotten Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has shared a social media update showing him training at another English club's facilities. The 25-year-old hasn't featured for the Blues since November 2024 as he remains suspended by the FA following an 'adverse finding in a routine urine test'.
The banned substance detected in his system was meldonium, which has been prohibited in sport since 2016 by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) as it enables athletes to boost endurance, accelerate recovery, and improve oxygen delivery to tissues during exercise.
Mudryk is facing a potential ban of up to four years, though the exact sanction he'll receive hasn't yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile, he's been working out away from Cobham with a private coach and has recently shared a video on Instagram with his 1.8 million followers showing himself in training.
The brief footage captures Mudryk on Uxbridge FC's 3G surface controlling a pass on the edge of the area before moving around an exercise dummy. He then strikes a shot into the far corner using his weaker left foot.

Apart from insisting he hadn't knowingly taken a banned substance, Mudryk has been relatively quiet on social media, though he did recently acknowledge a happy birthday message from Chelsea and also dropped a return hint to fans.
On the second subject, he remarked: "I just wanted to say thank you for your support. I see all your messages and truly appreciate them, so please don't give up on me as I [have] not give up on myself. Can't wait to see you soon."
Following his appointment at Chelsea to succeed Enzo Maresca, Liam Rosenior was questioned about Mudryk, with the 41-year-old acknowledging his intention to speak with the Ukrainian, though he hadn't yet done so.

He said in late January: "It's definitely something that I want to do, but there are many things I want to do and haven't been able to do.
"But, no, he's a magnificent player. He's had a really difficult time and when the moment is right for me and him and the club, I'll definitely have a conversation with him."
Rosenior further explained: "The time is right when I speak with the board and the sporting directors and when it's right that he's in a place where I can have an impact, in a positive way, on his career."
