"Tatum, it feels like it's gonna be Friday vs. Dallas. All signs are pointing to Friday, Dallas," Simmons said on his podcast.
The Boston Celtics are set to play the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night in the second game of a back-to-back. They will then host the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday before welcoming the Dallas Mavericks on Friday (March 6).
The five-time All-NBA forward has recently been seen participating in scrimmages with his teammates. ESPN insider Shams Charania reported that Tatum has been a "full-go" in the team's five-on-five sessions.
Tatum suffered an Achilles injury during the first round of last season's playoffs.
