A former NFL announcer turned hopeful politician is praising President Trump for his decision to bomb Iran.
The United States and Israel bombed Iran on February 28. President Trump said that the United States aimed to reach a deal with Iran after bombing three of its nuclear sites in 2025, but Iran "rejected every opportunity to renounce their nuclear ambitions, and we can't take it anymore."
"Instead, they attempted to rebuild their nuclear program and to continue developing long range missiles that can now threaten our very good friends and allies in Europe, our troops stationed overseas and could soon reach the American homeland," Trump said.
President Trump has faced criticism from some and praise from others.
Former NFL kicker and announcer Jay Feely, who is running for U.S. Congress in Arizona, is praising President Trump for his decision.

Feely took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to praise him for the move.
"This is what freedom looks like," he wrote, sharing a video of Iranian women dancing in the streets.
"War is ugly & should be avoided at all costs. But inaction doesn't mean lives are spared it often means many more innocent lives are sacrificed."
The former NFL announcer has made it clear that he is a proud supporter of President Trump.
