David Moyes has provided a squad update ahead of Everton’s Premier League fixture against Burnley at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday (7.30pm GMT).
There are no new injury concerns, with Seamus Coleman, Jack Grealish, and Charly Alcaraz still unavailable.
“We’ve got a couple of things I wouldn’t reveal just yet,” Moyes said. “Charly Alcaraz is still not back on the grass. Seamus picked up a small knock, but it’s not serious. He won’t play on Tuesday, but we hope he won’t be out for too long.”
Everton host Burnley after an exciting 3-2 win at Newcastle United, with Moyes praising the team’s resilience on the road.
“We aim to defend well but also attack effectively. Away from home, we’ve defended really well. At home, we tend to be a bit more open, but we’re always looking for ways to win games,” he added.
That win ended a two-game losing streak, keeping the eighth-placed Toffees within striking distance of the European spots. However, Everton’s form at Hill Dickinson Stadium has been poor. The team has failed to win any of their last seven home matches, picking up just two draws and suffering five defeats.
