The Indiana Pacers haven’t had much to celebrate this season. They have the worst record in the Eastern Conference thanks to a multitude of injuries. Because of those injuries, Indiana has the worst offense in the entire NBA.
Fans are excited that the team made a trade for Ivica Zubac, even though he hasn’t played for the team yet. The uniforms the team wears are also pretty slick, although the base home and away jerseys haven’t changed for the last few years. Tyrese Haliburton has noticed, too.
On social media, Haliburton seemed to hint that the Pacers might be changing those up in the near future.

Pacers Star Guard Tyrese Haliburton Hints at Uniform Changes
While responding to a fan on social media, Haliburton seemed to indicate that the team could be changing its uniforms soon.
Indiana made some fantastic changes to the homecourt for this season, although their base homecourt is still one of the best in the league. Some of the alternate uniforms that Indiana wears are also incredibly slick. Still, the base blue, white, and yellow jerseys haven’t changed much.
Haliburton is as into fashion as anyone else on the team. He is the team’s franchise player, so he will have a say in a lot of things that the team wants to do. With him being out for the year, it has allowed him to dip his toe into some other things around the franchise.
Heading into next year, the team could have a new base uniform for their home and away games. Haliburton could also be hinting that he might be having a hand in what the new uniforms look like, if they are in fact in the works for next season.

The Pacers Have a Lot to Look Forward to in 2026-27
While the Pacers are perhaps the worst team in the NBA this season, they have a lot to look forward to next season. Not only should the addition of Zubac make them better, but Haliburton returns. Haliburton will make them a contender to win the East again.
If they get some lottery luck, Indiana could end up adding a top-three pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, which is loaded at the top. Those three factors could signal that the Pacers are set up to make another run at the Eastern Conference crown next season.
If the franchise adds new uniforms to that picture, that could make fans even more excited to get to games next year. This is considered a gap year for at team that usually hates tanking. The Pacers have never had the number-one overall pick. That is what they are chasing.
The Pacers are going to figure out how their new draft pick fits into the roster, no matter which pick they get. This season being a lost one might be the best thing for them moving forward.
