SNY's Connor Hughes reports the Tennessee Titans have significant interest in Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson, who posted 1,014 receiving yards in 2025.

The Tennessee Titans were linked to a 1,000-yard free agent wide receiver.

The Tennessee Titans have a few roster positions of clear need heading into the NFL offseason. Those include defensive edge, cornerback, and pretty much any offensive playmaker for quarterback Cam Ward. The 2026 NFL Draft shakes out next month, but the NFL free agency period comes first — and perhaps we’ll get a clearer picture of the Tennessee Titans’ draft plans after a few signings. The rumor mill is humming, as SNY’s Connor Hughes linked a 1,000-yard receiver to a Brian Daboll reunion in Tennessee. The mounting free agency buzz suggests the former New York Giants wideout Wan’Dale Robinson is halfway out the door. Will Nashville be his next stop?

Hughes wrote that Robinson “could be the most difficult to retain” among New York Giants free agents this offseason, and that “sources SNY spoke with believed Robinson is more likely to play elsewhere than return to New York.” The Titans have “significant interest in Robinson, whose market is expected to be strong,” Hughes noted. The Brian Daboll connection makes the Tennessee Titans a natural landing spot for a receiver who already knows the playbook.

Tennessee Titans Linked to NFL Free Agent Wan’Dale Robinson

This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone paying attention. The Titans hired Daboll as offensive coordinator earlier this offseason, and Daboll was the head coach of the New York Giants when the team drafted Robinson in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 43rd overall pick.

Robinson just came off a career year with the Giants in 2025 — 92 receptions, 1,014 yards, and 4 touchdowns. That marked a massive jump from his 2024 line of 93 catches for 699 yards and 3 scores. He’s 25 years old, entering his prime, and now Daboll is calling plays in Nashville for a Titans offense that desperately needs weapons around Cam Ward.

What This Means for the Tennessee Titans’ NFL Free Agency Plans

The Titans are clearly building around Ward after his rookie season, and they’re not being shy about it. Tennessee already traded for Jets edge rusher Jermaine Johnson last week, addressing one defensive need. If they land Robinson in NFL free agency, that checks the wide receiver box before the draft even arrives.

And that’s where it gets interesting. There’s been significant combine buzz that the Titans are all about with Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love at No. 4 overall. Matthew Berry reported that he heard the Titans believe Love is the “best player in the 2026 NFL Draft.” If Tennessee addresses wide receiver and edge in free agency first, drafting Love at No. 4 suddenly makes a lot more sense.

The first couple weeks of March are going to tell us a lot. NFL free agency opens soon, and how the Titans spend will paint a clearer picture of what they do with that fourth overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Robinson to the Titans feels like it has real legs — and Daboll’s presence only makes it stickier.
