PJ Washington (left ankle) has been upgraded to questionable. Klay Thompson (right adductor soreness) is questionable. Caleb Martin is probable. Two-ways John Poulakidas, Tyler Smith & Moussa Cisse are questionable. Naji Marshall (right finger contusion) & Marvin Bagley III (neck sprain) remain out.”

Flagg is averaging 20.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 48.2% from the field and 30.2% from three-point range in 49 games.

Marc Stein of The Stein Line added more details before the injury report came out.

Stein wrote: “Hearing some optimism in Dallas that Cooper Flagg is nearing a return from the midfoot sprain that has sidelined him for the past seven games.”

The Mavericks have officially listed Cooper Flagg (left midfoot sprain) as doubtful for Tuesday’s game in Charlotte against fellow Rookie of the Year top contender Kon Knueppel.

Doubtful is at least a step up from Flagg’s outright OUT classification for the past seven games. https://t.co/0cHy8vHhWb
