Alabama defensive back Domani Jackson shared that he models his NFL game after New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez when speaking with the media at the NFL Combine.
Jackson cited that he and Gonzalez posses similar skills and physicals which is the reason why he looks up to his game the most.

“I think I try to model myself after Christian Gonzalez,” Jackson said. “He’s a big role model for me and I feel like we have the same body type, same attributes. So I really look up to him.”
Both Jackson and Gonzalez used to play in the Pac-12 with Jackson beginning his collegiate career at USC before transferring to Alabama. Before helping the Patriots defense to a Super Bowl appearance, Gonzalez was a standout corner with Oregon before becoming a first round pick.
Jackson may not be as heralded a prospect as Gonzalez due to inconsistencies in play, especially in 2025. But he is correct that he has the body type while flashing the necessary traits to succeed at the next level.
