The Minnesota Vikings, perhaps unexpectedly, have become a fascinating watch this offseason, and it is all because of J.J. McCarthy.
With Minnesota's young quarterback not covering himself in glory last season after the franchise moved on from Sam Darnold and watched him win a Super Bowl, there are now big questions over how the Vikings should proceed with J.J.
Well, ESPN's Peter Schrager has a couple of questions that he feels the franchise has to ask itself when it comes to how it approaches this offseason with McCarthy.
"This team is built to win now," Schrager said on ESPN's GetUp. "Can they get J.J. McCarthy to be their leader, or do they say let's go get someone who actually win out the number one job and compete against him in training camp."

Do Vikings view McCarthy as "the" guy?
That is perhaps the biggest question that needs to be answered.
He didn't play well last season, and let's not forget, it was his first year as a starter, with his rookie season being a redshirt as he was injured.
So, is one season enough of an evaluation? Given that Schrager thinks the Vikings are built to win now, it appears so.
But who could the franchise get to either replace J.J. or push him?
That is another question that needs to be answered.
There are a lot of unknowns for the Vikings as they enter the offseason, and fans will hope several answers will come from the long list of questions aimed at the franchise.
