Packers WR Christian Watson’s father fires back at ‘dumba**’ troll with unhinged rant

When you come at Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson, you also have to deal with his father, former NFL defensive back Tim Watson (now known as Tazim Wajid Wajed).

A social media user on X, formerly Twitter, had a recent exchange on the platform with Wajed, who dropped the mic with a savage response in defense of his son.

I am Christian Watson’s father [expletive]… I have watched every down of every game he has ever played in his life… and you don’t know what the [expletive] you’re talking about… Christian missed 3 total games in his entire career from injury before the NFL hamstring issues (that have been source-diagnosed and corrected).

Furthermore, he ran the entire route tree in college, and continues to run it in the NFL… Good try at spreading misinformation on the internet… Wrong adversary to try it on though!!!

In case you’re wondering, he is the now-deleted tweet that ticked off Wajed.

Packers WR Watson productive in 2025 despite missed games

Watson’s pro career has been defined by big plays and, unfortunately, by injuries. He has missed a lot of games since 2022, including many in the 2025 NFL season, as he recovered from a devastating ACL tear injury he suffered in the final regular-season game in the 2024 campaign, during a game against the Chicago Bears.

Despite appearing in only 10 games in 2025, Watson was able to rack up 611 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 35 receptions and 55 targets. Overall in his NFL career thus far, he has 2,264 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns on 133 catches and 227 targets through 48 games.

Watson signed a one-year contract extension worth $11 million with the Packers in 2025, which goes through the 2026 campaign.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (9) makes a catch against Detroit Lions cornerback Amik Robertson (21) during the first half at Ford Field in Detroit on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025.
