Mykhailo Mudryk was seen in training footage of his own recently, and the story behind it all has come out amid speculation he could return for Chelsea soon.
Mykhailo Mudryk has missed 74 matches for Chelsea across all competitions since his provisional suspension began, and there is still no sign of his return.
Liam Rosenior has already stated that he will have a conversation with Mudryk soon.
However, Chelsea are stacked out wide with Alejandro Garnacho, Pedro Neto, Estevao Willian and Jamie Gittens at the club, so he’ll need to impress.
But fans have been given some hope after seeing the training footage of Mudryk.

Chelsea cannot let Mudryk train under the current ban
Footage of Mykhailo Mudryk taking part in some shooting training went viral, which piqued the interest of Chelsea supporters who wondered what the situation was.
According to Ben Jacobs, Mykhailo Mudryk is not training with Uxbridge FC.
He has simply rented their 3G surface separate from both the non-league club and Chelsea.
This has been booked via Mudryk’s own team. Nothing has been organised by Chelsea or could be under the terms of his ban.
So the mystery remains about a potential return date for Mudryk, but one thing that we learned from this is that Chelsea can have no involvement with him right now.

Mudryk might even need a loan move when he returns
If Mykhailo Mudryk is cleared to return, he enters a Chelsea environment that has moved on. Since his November 2024 exile, the club has transitioned from Enzo Maresca to Liam Rosenior, and more tellingly, stripped Mudryk of his No. 10 shirt in favor of Cole Palmer.
With high-profile arrivals like Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens, and Estevao now occupying the wide berths, Mudryk’s path to the first team is rather difficult.
A loan move isn’t just sensible; it’s a good option for both parties. Having not played a competitive minute in 15 months, Mudryk will lack the match sharpness required for Rosenior’s high-intensity system.
A temporary switch to sister club Strasbourg or a mid-table La Liga side like Sevilla would allow him to rebuild his confidence and value away from the spotlight.
