After the Houston Rockets pulled off a 123-118 win against them, Durant praised how the duo could transform the Wizards' lineup.

"He's (Trae) a dynamic guy that can create for everybody else, score for himself," Durant said in a post-game interview. "This is gonna make the game easier for everybody else on the floor. You know, he's a true point guard, and right now they're kind of doing it by committee, so with him out there, it'll ease everybody's mind and their game, and they can just settle into their roles."

"I'm excited for the hometown team. I'm excited for AD to get to put the jersey on too and represent the city. I see bright things in their future."

The Wizards acquired Young and Davis at the trade deadline, and Durant's comments suggest he expects them to provide instant two-way production.

Young averages 25.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game, shooting 43.2 from the field and 35.1 from three-point range during his career.

Meanwhile, Davis averages 24.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists while shooting 50.6% from the field in 807 games played.
