Chelsea have been linked with a move for former Liverpool striker Darwin Núñez.
The Uruguayan international is currently playing his football in Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal, but he has found himself relegated at the club since the arrival of 38-year old Karim Benzema in the January transfer window.
Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move for the forward, who looks set to end his time in the Middle East in the coming months.
There are those that might wonder why Chelsea would be interested in taking a player who struggled during his time at Liverpool, but others argue that his issues were largely due to confidence, and that he might thrive in the right environment.
And whilst Chelsea have a number of forward options at their disposal, Núñez would offer something different to what they already possess, and potentially an upgrade to Liam Delap who might be sold this summer anyway.
