Juventus are no longer alone in eyeing a blockbuster move for Alisson Becker, with a second European giant now registering concrete interest in Liverpool’s long‑serving number one.

The Brazil international remains under contract at Anfield until June 2027 after signing an extended deal in 2021, which gives Liverpool a strong negotiating position despite growing speculation over a possible summer reshuffle in Jürgen Klopp’s old guard.

Juventus were the first Italian powerhouse linked with Alisson in recent weeks, as they look ahead to a succession plan in goal and seek proven Champions League pedigree.

The Turin club view the 33‑year‑old’s previous Serie A experience with Roma and his leadership in Liverpool’s title‑winning years as ideal foundations for a new cycle in Piedmont. However, Alisson’s net salary of around €5 million per year at Liverpool is already considered a heavy lift for Juve’s current economic framework, making any deal complicated without a major outgoing or creative structuring.

Now, La Repubblica are reporting that fellow Serie A giant Inter Milan have joined the race and are closely monitoring Alisson’s situation as they plan for life after Yann Sommer, whose contract expires on June 30 and who turns 37 this year. Inter’s first-choice target remains Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, but La Repubblica report that the Nerazzurri see Alisson as a serious alternative and appreciate his fluency in Italian.

It is claimed Alisson could actually be a cheaper operation for Inter than Vicario, with the Spurs keeper valued at around €25 million and certain to command a significant fee and salary package of his own.

For both Inter and Juventus, though, the true stumbling block is likely to be the overall cost of prising a still‑elite, long‑contracted goalkeeper away from Liverpool, combining transfer fee and wages at a time when Italian clubs are treading carefully in the market.

As things stand, Alisson has become one of the most high‑profile names on Serie A’s summer wish list, but any move will depend on whether Liverpool are genuinely ready to cash in on a cornerstone of their modern era.
