Harry Maguire

The Manchester United defender was substituted late on in the club’s recent win over Crystal Palace due to illness. Maguire has played a key role in the team’s strong run of form and could be a doubt for Wednesday’s game with Newcastle.

Full-back Luke Shaw was also replaced in the first-half. Interim manager Michael Carrick said after the Palace game: "They just weren’t feeling too well, so, hopefully, they will be feeling better soon.”

Harry Wilson

Fulham winger Harry Wilson was taken off in his side’s triumph over Tottenham Hotspur. Wilson opened the scoring but was replaced in the second half, with his manager sharing that the Welshman could be a doubt for the club’s clash with West Ham on Wednesday.

“Wilson said at half time [that] he might need to be taken off,” Marco Silva explained. “We waited a bit, but he got a knock. He twisted his ankle. Let’s see how he is in the next few days.”

Marc Cucurella

The Chelsea full-back has been absent for the last two Premier League games against Burnley and Arsenal. Manager Liam Rosenior has provided an update on Marc Cucurella’s recovery and suggested he could soon return to the starting lineup.

Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s game against Aston Villa, Rosenior said: "Cucu is looking good, hopefully we can get him back involved if not on Wednesday, then on Saturday."

Florian Wirtz

Liverpool star Florian Wirtz is expected to remain sidelined for his side’s trip to Wolves on Tuesday. The midfielder has missed the club’s wins against Nottingham Forest and West Ham United with a back issue and is not likely to return for the game at Molineux.

“Not anything different than what I said after the game [on Saturday],” Liverpool boss Arne Slot said. “The game tomorrow will probably come too soon and maybe the game at the weekend as well. Let’s see how that ends up.

“But we hope to have him back somewhere next week. Maybe earlier. Maybe a bit later. But that timescale.”
