James Garner is the Everton player who has run the furthest so far this season in the Premier League.
It has been a brilliant season for the Englishman, who has taken his game to a new level this term.
How much would YOU say James Garner is worth now? 💰
Everton paid just £9m for him in 2022… 👏

Garner has been a consistent performer in the blue of Everton, and even shone in the full-back positions when called upon.
We have reached the point now whereby many are expecting Garner to be called up to the next England squad after so many all-action displays.
It would be deserved, because Garner really has been at the heart of everything for Everton.
And it turns out he’s covered the most distance, with only three players ahead of him in the whole league.

The Premier League have released new data about distance covered.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
And Garner is revealed to have covered 305.8 km/h so far this season, in 2514 minutes played.
Only three players have run further than this so far.
Player Distance covered Minutes played
Zubimendi 311.1 2450
Anderson 309.8 2507
Rogers 307.1 2500
Garner 305.8 2514
Berge 300.1 2346
Truffert 295.8 2480
Mitchell 291.0 2489
Gibbs-White 290.7 2394
Bowen 258.8 2509
Rice 258.0 2405
It has often felt like Garner has been everywhere, but this data does suggest he’s been very busy in Everton’s midfield.
Of course, he’s played a lot and has the most minutes to his name out of all these players. So naturally he’ll have a high distance covered.
He’s also played as a full-back on occasion, which may have helped to bump up his total distance covered.
But nevertheless, to place fourth in the Premier League for total distance covered is an impressive feat.
Garner is one of the most all-action midfielders in the Premier League
This is yet more impressive data about Garner.
But we know that he isn’t just a runner, having been top of the combined tackles and interceptions metric around a month ago, ahead of players like Moises Caicedo and Joao Palhinha.
Is James Garner actually better as a full-back or in midfield? 🤔
He's been exceptional just about all season for the Blues!

And he’s chipped in with three goals and four assists this season.
He has simply had a brilliant season, and it would only be right now for him to finally get a chance with the England national team.
