Everton could now take one step closer to signing Jack Grealish permanently in the summer.
The Toffees signed the three-time Premier League winner in the summer, but his loan deal has been ruined by a season-ending injury.
That hasn’t taken away from the 30-year-old’s impact at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as he made a truly excellent impression on Merseyside.
He is set to return to Manchester City at the end of the campaign when his temporary stint ends in L4, but a stay could still be on the cards.
The Friedkin Group could provide the perfect deal for David Moyes to help bring Grealish back to the Goodison club, ready for next season.

The hope of securing silverware on Merseyside may be helped by Grealish’s return, something which former scout Bryan King believes will become possible with an influx of revenue.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, King said: “I don’t think Everton have had trouble selling out the new stadium.
“The hospitality is there, and it can cost over £1700 for one game. That alone will bring in a lot of money for the club.
“These other sponsorship deals on top of matchdays will make it easier to sign Jack Grealish, so they’ve got to be done.

“If they want to keep him and improve the squad around him, it will cost money.
“Advertising is one way to subsidise big transfer fees, and this is just an example of that.
“Bigger sponsorship deals are how you take a club to the next level, and if they are as big as they say they are for Everton, it’s going to help bring in new players.”

The true purpose of moving from Goodison Park to Bramley-Moore Dock was to bring in more revenue through the stadium.
That has already begun with Hill Dickinson Stadium set to play host to England Women’s World Cup qualifier clash with Ukraine in June.

It looks set to continue with new sponsorship deals that could transform the fate of the Toffees and the level of players they can attract.
If the Friedkins can get Grealish to sign permanently, it represents a statement of intent that could help boost Everton’s revenue further.
