Arsenal star makes prediction about Chelsea winger Estevao Willian in the Premier League

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus is a fan of Chelsea winger Estevao Willian, who has caught the attention of many in England this season.

At just 18 years of age, Estevao has already scored some big goals for Chelsea, including against Barcelona and Liverpool.

Estevao recently revealed his favourite moment at Chelsea so far, naming his match-winner in his side’s 2-1 win over the Reds.

Jesus is now tipping Estevao to have a very bright career in the Premier League, partly because of his professionalism.

Speaking to UOL, the Arsenal man said: “I think Estevao has everything to follow a successful path in the Premier League. He is a boy with a very good heart and a dedicated professional.”

Estevao missed Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to Jesus’ side because of injury, which has come at a very bad time.

Jamie Gittens was already injured, while Pedro Neto is set to miss Wednesday’s clash against Aston Villa. The Portuguese was sent off against Arsenal and is now unavailable for the trip to Villa Park because of suspension.

It means that Liam Rosenior is likely to start Cole Palmer on the right, with Enzo Fernandez in the No.10 position and Alejandro Garnacho possibly on the left.

Garnacho has been heavily criticised by Chelsea fans this season, scoring just one goal in 17 Premier League matches so far. However, with Neto suspended and Estevao and Gittens injured, Rosenior’s options are limited.

Why has Alejandro Garnacho been such an unpopular signing? 🤯

Estevao only has one more goal than the Argentina international but has still been a huge threat in almost every game he has played.

According to WhoScored, Estevao is currently completing 1.4 dribbles per game in the English top flight, which is the highest average in Chelsea’s squad. Meanwhile, Garnacho is only completing 0.6.

Still just 21, Chelsea should not give up on Garnacho yet, but supporters would clearly prefer to have Estevao start over him at Villa Park. Unfortunately for them, while Estevao is not expected to be out for too long, it is highly unlikely he will make the Villa game.
