The Serbian forward made it clear that he closely follows the EuroLeague season and believes Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade have a real chance to make a deep run.
"Of course I follow. I am glad that Red Star look good," he said per Mozzart Sport. "They have a deep and talented roster and I hope they go as far as possible, because I think this is one of their better chances in recent years. I feel sorry for Partizan and everything that was happening. But both clubs are big and deserve to be at the top of the EuroLeague."
Jovic did not stop there. When asked about his EuroLeague Final Four prediction, he put Red Star in there.
"I would like Red Star to be there. I will put Red Star first. Let Fenerbahce be second. I will put Hapoel third because I think they can return to their early season form. Valencia are also good. And for the fourth team, I have a feeling that it will be Real Madrid again. They are not playing great, but somehow they always reach the Final Four."

The Miami forward also confirmed that he is ready to suit up again for the Serbian national team this summer.
"He called me and asked if I would play. My answer is always the same. Of course, if I am healthy. I am ready to play both windows if possible."
Jovic also reflected on Serbia early exit from EuroBasket, admitting the result still hurts.
"I am sorry, of course. I believe we deserved more. I felt that those 12 players and the coaching staff were perfectly connected and ready to shine. Unfortunately, at one point everything went downhill."
This season in the NBA, Jovic averages 7.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 37.0% from the field.
