Kevin Durant turns heads with post-game actions with Wizards player

Houston Rockets superstar Kevin Durant has always expressed his deep passion for basketball, showing NBA fans time and time again how much he cares about the game. Durant and the Rockets beat the Washington Wizards, 123-118, on Tuesday, in a game that saw Wizards star Trae Young rejected for leaving the bench.

Alperen Sengun (32 points and 13 rebounds) and Durant (30 points and seven rebounds) led the way for Houston. They improved to 38-22 while winning the regular-season matchup against the capital team.

After winning the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, some might have thought that Kevin Durant was done with Team USA. While he will be pushing 40 at the time of the games, Durant made it clear he plans to represent the country again.

“Hell yeah, I want to play,” Durant said. “I would love to, but I’ve got to stay on top of my game. I’m not expecting, I want to produce on the floor and make Grant and whoever is making the decisions, want to put me on the team. I don’t want — not just for seniority. I want to still prove I can help the team win.”

His love for the game remains unmatched. Time will tell if he can emulate LeBron James and play in the Olympics deep in his 30s.
