E.J. Speed

Starting 41 games in his career since entering the league in 2019, Speed would be a stopgap option that could provide a ton of value, especially on first and second down.

Alex Anzalone

Drafted by the Saints in 2017, Anzalone will be 32 years old in 2026 and has found ways to continue being productive. Having been with the Lions since 2021, he still has a little bit left in the tank and could be on the Bears radar due to his familiarity with Allen.

Jerome Baker

Baker will turn 30 this December, and when he was a starter for the Dolphins from 2018-2023, he managed to be productive. Last year in Cleveland, he totaled 40 tackles in four starts while playing all 17 games. His experience is hard to ignore but it's also fair to question whether or not he can return to top form.

K.J. Britt

An off-ball linebacker who has started 16 games since entering the league in 2021, Britt's best season came in 2024 when he totaled 72 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and two tackles for loss. On the Bears, he'd be a nice rotational piece with some veteran experience to push players like Noah Sewell, creating competition in the process.

Leo Chenal

After being a regular part of the Chiefs defense for the last four seasons, Chenal will be a free agent for the first time in his career. With his measurables (6-foot-3, 250 pounds), he'd likely take over for T.J. Edwards if he inks a deal with the Bears.

Jack Cochrane

Cochrane has started just two games in his career for the Chiefs but he could end up being a solid addition to the roster, especially if the Bears are trying to create some competition while adding veteran experience.
