L.A. Rams News: Maxx Crosby is on the table

The Los Angeles Rams adding Maxx Crosby is a big “if” but there is a chance that Crosby forces himself out of business with the Las Vegas Raiders, and nothing is certain, but a trade of Crosby wouldn’t be a surprise at this point. If Crosby is to be moved, the Rams wouldn’t be the only team interested.

“While there has only been speculation that the Rams would be interested in trading for Crosby, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer offered the first signs that L.A. is a team that could acquire the veteran. Per Breer, the Rams are among the seven teams “keeping tabs on his availability.” The other clubs are the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles.“

It’s been speculated that Crosby hasn’t been happy with Vegas, and Crosby himself has talked about wanting to compete for a Super Bowl, so a trade the Rams isn’t totally off the table, but who knows how likely it is either?

Things can change fast, but last season the Raiders looked like a team that was still several seasons away from competing. If Crosby doesn’t feel that the Raiders can get on track this year or next, then he may want to play elsewhere.

In the meantime, it’s only Tuesday. Thank you for checking out Turf Show Times and have a great day!

“With the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine concluding on Sunday, it’s time for another seven-round mock draft. In this projection, the Rams trade up four spots for an electric defender who will help them at multiple spots right away. And even after moving up, they come away with two starting-caliber cornerbacks with their next two picks.

“Free agency starts next week, which means it won’t be long before the Los Angeles Rams are adding veteran talent to an already loaded roster. They can sign any of their own pending free agents between now and the start of free agency to prevent them from hitting the market, but the question is whether anyone warrants a new deal.
