Boston College recently hired Jules Montinar as their new defensive backs coach. The veteran coach is coming to Chestnut Hill from a variety of stops with the most recent being his time at Oklahoma State. As he gets himself situated in his new program, Montinar has been making new offers to recruits for the upcoming class of '27 and beyond. One name that popped up early in his tenure is '27 Angleton (Tx.) DB Kasen Jammer.
A 5-9 cornerback, Jammer has offers from BC, Baylor, Arkansas State, Old Dominion and others. The Eagles were the first Power 4 offer for the junior, as they offered in late February, but Baylor jumped in recently as well. Kasen is the son of long time NFL player Quentin Jammer who played for the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers, and nephew of Quandre Diggs who was a Pro Bowl NFL defensive back for the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans. Kasen spoke with Eagle Insider shortly after locking in an official visit with the Eagles.
