Several intermediaries engineering Liverpool exit–Attempt to build deal

This week, Sport Witness have covered the situation of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, who is attracting interest from Italy.

La Repubblica spoke of a battle involving Juventus and Inter Milan, with both sides looking to sign a new goalkeeper. Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario is also of interest but the Brazilian’s contract scenario is slowly capturing their attention.

The goalkeeper’s current deal at Anfield runs out in 2027, with no renewal in sight.

It now seems like intermediaires are trying to engineer his exit from Liverpool this summer.

Intermediaries at work for player

Journalist Mirko Di Natale, who mainly covers Juventus, has tweeted about the Brazil international’s links with the Bianconeri.

He makes it clear that several intermediaries are trying to find a new club for the 33-year-old. This is how Juve were possibly approached about his availability and are now alert to the situation at Anfield.

They really like the player’s leadership and experience. Even if Juve have made initial contact for Tottenham’s Vicario, Alisson is very much being considered as an option.

Old Lady manager Luciano Spalletti worked with Alisson during his time at Roma. It could be argued that he played a key role in his development and rise to the highest level during his time in Serie A.

Exit can come at the right time for Alisson

It can be presumed that Alisson’s contract is also seen as quite appealing, considering how Juve like to operate in the market. There have been suggestions that the player’s wage demands may hamper a switch but he still remains a candidate.

He remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world too, despite his age. The Liverpool player is also a much more well-rounded stopper than Vicario, who has struggled this season. There are also question marks about the Italian’s ability on the ball.

That is why Alisson’s return to Italy should be something to keep an eye on.
