Everton hope to sign Harry Wilson this summer.
The Fulham No.8 has been one of the stars of this season after impressively scoring ten goals and providing seven assists in 32 appearances across all competitions so far, with talkSPORT claiming that David Moyes is a huge admirer of the Welshman.
In normal circumstances, Everton would probably be staring a £50m valuation in the face, but there is a chance the Wales international becomes available for free with his contract expiring this summer.
Now, talkSPORT have provided an update on this situation, and believe it is a near certainty that Harry Wilson does become a free agent at the end of the season.
If you could sign one player, who would it be Everton fans? 🤩

Harry Wilson set to leave Fulham but Everton still face strong competition
There now seems to be little chance of the 28-year-old staying at Craven Cottage beyond the current campaign, but Everton may need to qualify for Europe to have any chance of securing his signature.
Aston Villa are also interested in Wilson, and talkSPORT say the forward is open to a move to Villa Park, even more so if the Villans manage to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Wrexham – where Wilson was born – are also mentioned as a potential destination if the Championship side go up.
Everton may have a chance to sign another Fulham star in Alex Iwobi if Harry Wilson moves elsewhere
Fulham are enjoying a strong campaign, sitting ninth on 40 points and also into the fifth round of the FA Cup.

However, there seems to be trouble in paradise. Quite randomly, the Nigeria international – who is quite active on social media – has appeared to delete all mention of Fulham from his Instagram page, from the bio to his collection of photos.

Iwobi remains contracted to Fulham until July 2028, but in an age where social media activity can often be quite telling in the football world, the 29-year-old may be searching for a way out of Craven Cottage if something has suddenly irritated him in west London.
