Adam Aznou was spotted at St James’ Park on Saturday despite not being included in Everton’s matchday squad.
David Moyes guided his side to yet another victory on the road against Newcastle United at the weekend, and he did so without Aznou.
The left-back has now been pushed out of the matchday squad following a number of returning Everton players from injury.
Moyes has urged Aznou to improve at Everton among a number of other players like Tyler Dibling.

Aznou has now missed the last five Premier League squads, with the Moroccan falling out of favour with Moyes.
He was, however, in attendance on Saturday, with the left-back travelled to the north east, potentially as an emergency call-up to the squad.

Everton released behind the scenes footage from St James’ Park on their YouTube channel, with Aznou spotted in the tunnel (2:35).
Having travelled with the side but not being included in the matchday squad only highlights that Aznou is still just on the outskirts of Moyes’ thinking.
Although he never had to put on his Everton kit, the 19-year-old did pick up some experience from travelling with his teammates in a big away win.
Aznou had opportunities to depart Everton over the winter window, but the decision was made to keep him around.
With Vitalii Mykolenko and Jarrad Branthwaite both fit, the youngster looks set for a quiet remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.
