There is no tag coming for Kenneth Walker III.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Seattle Seahawks have decided against placing a franchise or transition tag on the Super Bowl MVP and the running back will hit free agency.

A 25-year-old native of Memphis, Walker rushed for 135 yards on 27 carries in the Seahawks’ 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX as the Seahawks claimed their second title.
Originally taken with the 41st overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Michigan State, Walker appeared in all 17 regular season games this past season. He carried the ball 221 times for 1,021 yards for five touchdowns.
For his career, Walker has appeared in 58 games over four seasons, rushing for 3,555 yards on 821 carries and 29 TDs.
The deadline for teams to place a tag on a player is 4 p.m. ET later on Tuesday. The NFL’s legal tampering period begins on Monday.
