The New York Jets once again head into an NFL offseason where they must weigh up some crucial roster decisions in order to improve the state of their team.
One of those decisions has just been made by the AFC East franchise regarding their star RB Breece Hall.

As per NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, the Jets have decided that they will use the franchise tag on Hall.

Long-term deal could still be made between Jets and Hall
It has also been noted by Schulz that the franchise tag move for Hall will be for $14.29M and that “both sides are motivated to get a long-term deal done.”

For now, however, Hall will not be entering free agency and will be on the franchise tag instead.

Last season, Hall rushed for 1,065 yards, as per nfl.com, for a New York team that finished with a 3-14 record.

Hall was also drafted out of Iowa State by the Jets organization in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
